Weight

Measured in lb

A single body-weight measurement, which has no meaningful 'range' on its own and swings day to day with fluid, food, and timing — shown here as a trend only.

What it is

Weight is simply how much your body weighs at the moment you step on the scale. On its own it has no meaningful high or low range — it depends on your height, build, muscle mass, and much else — which is why this app shows it as a trend over time and makes no in-range or out-of-range judgment about it. Day-to-day readings can move by several pounds from hydration, food and salt in your system, time of day, and clothing, so short swings often reflect fluid rather than any lasting change. Clinicians generally look at weight alongside other context rather than treating any single number as informative by itself.

Worth asking your clinician

  • Is my weight trend over time something you'd want to look at, or is the day-to-day variation just noise?
  • What other information would you want alongside weight to make it meaningful for me?
  • How should I be weighing myself so the numbers I bring you are consistent and comparable?
